Experience in sewing vintage styles of the era is helpful but these instructions are simple enough for someone with intermediate sewing skills or better to follow. These are great resources for learning the sewing techniques of the day and for learning sewing and tailoring techniques for women's suits. You can not only apply the instructions to patterns from the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's but also to more modern patterns.
This is a reproduction of an instructional booklet originally published in March 1946.
This is a digital copy of original works which can be downloaded in .pdf format at time of purchase and read or printed with Adobe Reader.
